The technology used in this lesson is the projector. The teacher is using the projector to project the word onto the screen that the children will use to rhyme with another word of their choosing. I think this technology is used in a good way, to get the word out to all the kids, but i do think there is other ways to get the word out to the children without using technology. The teacher could simply write the word on the dry erase board/ chalk board or the teacher could just say the word out loud. Technology is encouraged in this lesson, but not necessary.
In my new take of this lesson plan, I would have all the children sit at a computer, and project the word up on the screen and by incorporating typing, have all the children type on their screen what word rhymes with the word I put up on the screen (just so every child gets the chance to find a word that rhymes with the other word), and say 3....2....1... then they could stand up and act out the word they typed on their computer. The "new" technology that would be included would be a computer. The computer would be incorporated into the lesson for the children to type that word onto their computer that rhymes with my word that's being projected onto the screen.
